APOPLEX Hive Bee	posted 01-14-2000 11:06 AM Uurrgghh... This was posted soooo many times, but ok, here is it.... Make an aqu. sat. Na2S2O5 (Sodiumdisulfite) or NaHSO3 (Sodiumbisulfite) soln. Both will work. Put in your Oil-mix and stir for 30 min. Crystals of the Ketone-bisulfite-precipitate will be formed. Filter the Crystals, wash with dH2O, then with Ether to obtain nearly white crystals. Put them into 10% aqu. HCl and stir again for about 30 mins. You will see the happy Ketone in it`s old oil form, but now absolutely pure. Extract with Ether, dry it and remove the Ether.
